When we went to Michael’s this weekend, they had an associate helping with a couple of crafts. Lily picked the yarn doll. I asked how to make this because it looked pretty easy, and Lily really liked the model they had.

First, gather materials: shirt, scissors, decorations.

I picked pony beads and royal blue grosgrain ribbon to decorate one if my bag straps.

Second, cut off the thick hem line and fringe the shirt. Also, cut the seams on the sides of the shirt to the height of the fringe.

Third, tie the top layer and bottom layers of fringe to ‘seal’ the bottom of the bag. Add your decorations and other embellishments.
