Lily got invited to her first birthday party for a friend. Not the first birthday party she’s ever gone to, but this was for a friend she made all on her own, not a friendship orchestrated by the parents.

We left Navy with Papa so the guys could have some male bonding and Lily could have some girl time.

The girls got to take turns whacking a pinata. Sarah and Lily were great about taking turns and sharing.

This thing is far too durable. The girls beat it for at least 5 minutes without so much as a morsel of candy falling out.

One if the older kids finally just beat the heck out of the pinata so the kids could get some candy.

We are so thankful to Sarah, Cheyenne, and Bill for including us in Sarah’s special day.
