“Arthur’s Underwear” by Marc Brown

Lily needed an Arthur book for her Building Bridges with Books bingo sheet. I picked this book because I knew Lily would like it.

I liked the book because it is so funny because Arthur came to school in his underwear. I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to wear just my underwear because I would get way too mad and run out of the classroom and home to get my pants.

“Arthur’s Underwear” is rude because people laughed and that’s rude. People aren’t supposed to do that.

I liked this book because Little Sister named the bunny “Egg.”

Find Easter eggs, but Little Sister found the most, but Little Critter found one with a chick inside.

I liked the book.

What was your favorite part?
My favorite part was when Little Critter got the birthday present that was a secret for his Mom.

I liked the whole thing.

My favorite character was Little Critter.
Why? Because he had a birthday present for his Mom.

Why do you like Mercer Mayer’s Little Critter books?

Because he has a lot of Little Critter books.

“Computer Trouble” by Jan & Mike Berenstain

I always liked these characters growing up. It was nice to see the same loveable bears, with a very relevant topic.

I liked the book because Papa Bear bought a computer. I like the baby because she’s playing a different computer, and it doesn’t cost as much money, and she can do whatever she wants to on it.

What problems were the Bears having?
They were messing on the computers.

What does Papa Bear think they should do?
Papa thinks they should do all the same things they used to do.

Why do you think Jan & Mike Greenstein wrote this book?
I think he wrote this book so kids won’t be bad for safety, so they can be safe.

I liked the book.
