I’ve watched enough Food Network and Cooking Channel to know that if Anne Burrell comes to my house during dinner time, she is going to rip me a new one.
When it comes to cooking, I fly by the seat of my pants. I grab it as I need it. Anne would tell me that mise en place is a thing. Have everything out and ready before you start cooking.
I gave it a go when I was making red onion marmalade. It was less stressful because I had everything out AND measured before I started cooking. The only downfall was that I had several extra dirty dishes from having each ingredient measured out in a small bowl before hand.
I used my Fiestaware cereal and berry bowls, but these Pyrex bowls and these Pyrex bowls would work just as well.
