Tonight was the opening ceremonies for the Summer Olympics in London. I let the kids stay up late to watch them because its a special event.
After it was all done, Lily said, “Mommy, that was so cool!”
I really hope she has fond memories of this Olympics.

Lily was the 1st Runner-Up for the Hoagland Days Princess contest.
The seven kids, 4 girls and 3 boys, raised almost $1,800 for the community!
Thank you to the following businesses that let us place her cans in their business: Hoagland Pizza, Tiny Town Market, Wells Fargo, BP Sparky Mart, Nine Mile Restaurant, Mel’s Deli, The Ville, and Hall’s Commissary. — Please visit these businesses, as they have been of great support to the community!

They did the Hoagland Days princess introductions tonight. After they read the mini bio I wrote about her, Lily told me she also likes pink and purple. Oops!

My princess needs your votes for the Hoagland Days Princess contest!
