She didn’t get scolded. Thanked her for the effort, but told her a rag would be a better idea to clean the car with. It’s just a car, and her heart was in the right place.

Lily’s behavior has been excellent. She earned the treat of going out for lunch. She has the choice of Applebee’s or Bob Evans. She chose Bob Evans.

I couldn’t decide on just one picture day, so I’m throwing this one out there, too.
We are very fortunate for the Allen County Public Library. We have several branches, and many also have evening hours a couple of times a week.
We’ve neglected the library for too long. We went to make this a weekly thing, where we visit the library and get books and/or movies. We have this amazing [free] resource that we haven’t been using.

I was clipping coupons from the Sunday paper, and Lily wanted to help.
I was leery, but her teacher had told me how good Lily is with scissors. I tested those skills on a page of expired coupons. She was cleared to cut the real thing.

Navy was sitting in a chair like a big boy, patiently playing with the wire and bead toy. For being a year old, I was very proud of his attention span.
