After some breakfast and swimming at the hotel, we went to visit to Jelly Belly for warehouse tour before finished our journey to the Wisconsin Dells.
I have to admit that the Jelly Belly warehouse tour was not what I expected. I was thinking that we would see some of the manufacturing of the jelly beans, like we’d seen on “Unwrapped.”
The tour showed the history of the company and really seemed to hold the kids interest, which I didn’t expect because most of the information was done via video clips.
We ended up in the gift shop with a few variety packs of Jelly Belly jelly beans for each of us. There were so many jelly beans in the gift shop, all the flavors where separated along the back wall. There was even a tasting bar to sample all of the flavors that Jelly Belly offers, even the gross ones from the Beanboozled collections.
We continued on to Great Wolf Lodge in the Dells. The first day, we focused on getting settled into our suite. The kids got to get their stuffed animals from the gift shop. The kids did a little swimming. After we explored a bit, we celebrated Lily’s 12th birthday with cheesecake.
Tomorrow, more adventure!
