Project 365: Day 51 – “A Psalm of Life”

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sand of time

Project 365: Day 47 – Bored Boy

image

Lily was working her shift at the Girl Scout cookie booth. Navy was bored about 30 minutes in to Lily’s 90 minute shift. He kept making a mad dash for the door, so I mad him sit in the baskets. He did not like this at all.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Nothing too fancy this year. Dinner at Subway. Cards and small gifts for the kids.

Navy really liked his card because it had a puppy on it. He was pretty excited about the Percy train engine he got, too!

Lily got a fun set of press-on nails, lip gloss, and a Littlest Pet Shop animal.

Henry fixed my car, so that was my Valentine’s day gift. He put a lot of time, effort, and money into making sure the kids and I had a reliable source of transportation.

I’m taking him out for dinner (no kids!) next week. It’s a surprise, too!!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Project 365: Day 29 – I Love You Papa

image

My Dad has been in the hospital for a couple of days. The nurse told Lily that she could write on his board.

Her message to Papa, “I love you Papa!”

Project 365: Day 26 – Little Lego Man

Showing off his creation.

Navy got three boxes of Legos for Christmas. Last week, he would just dump or throw his blocks. A couple of days ago, he started “building” with them.

Can’t believe he will be 2 soon!
