Lily’s last day of gymnastics. I thought I would have some sort of regret, but the teacher turnovers recently made it a blessing in disguise. The new instructor was talking down to the kids and was just a downgrade from every other teacher Lily has had.
Maybe this fall, she can start back up at a new academy. It certainly won’t be this one.

Navy missed his afternoon nap today. He was trying hard to fall asleep when I came to get him from Papa’s house.
He ended up falling asleep in the car, just a couple of minutes before we reached our destination. Unfortunately, we weren’t going home, so I had to wake my little guy up.
He was one cranky Bean the rest of the night. A quick sandwich for dinner, then he was in bed and out in no time.
When we watered our garden this evening, Lily took little sips of cool water from the sprinkler.
Our neighbors got new pets. They let Lily hold one of the bunnies.
