Project 365: Day 107 – Nintendo Time

Lily’s blue Nintendo DSi was stolen a couple of weeks ago. It’s been very hard for her to understand how someone could take something that didn’t belong to them.

Henry just happened to have a black Nintendo 3DS that he doesn’t play with anymore. He said that as long as she behaved, she could borrow it.

She spent a couple of hours on the sofa playing with the new Hello Kitty game she bought with her birthday gift card and taking pictures with the camera.

So grateful that she has a man like Henry in her life.

Arts In a Name

I was reading Attack of the Twins: New Artwork that I’d discovered on Pinterest. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it, but we both have daughters named Lily, so it definitely caught my eye.

The mom got canvas, painters’ tape, and finger paints. She taped off each child’s name on the canvas. Then, she let them paint.

I modified the project a little bit with the age differences in my children. Lily had a bigger, more complex project. Navy’s was smaller and more simplistic.

Project 365: Day 96 – Spaghetti Face

With errands to run, I wanted to have a decent family dinner. No fast food. Bob Evans is great for that.

The kids ate well. Navy destroyed his cheese toasty and shared (read: fed me with his grubby hands) some green beans with me.

It was a good evening, and I so enjoy time with Henry and the kids.

Michelle’s Visit: Day 7 – Acting Like We’re High Rollers

Thursday’s are always crazy for us. Even with our stay-cation, today was no different.

We met Henry at Spyro’s Pancake House for lunch. I love the Greek flare to their menu. We’be also never taken Michelle there before.
