Project 365: Day 313 – Upset

image

Lily was expecting Papa to pick her up from school. I had left work early, so I was able to pick her up.

When she walked out and saw my van, she refused to come get in. The teacher had to actually walk her halfway. She cried that she wanted Papa to come get her.

I feel the love…

Halloween is such a whimsical holiday for us. I’m not big on scary or gory. I like silly and sparkly!

We all decorated pumpkins for Halloween at work!!

Project 365: Day 287 – Sometimes People Surprise You

Seeing all of the motorcycles lining up for the Noll Carmin benefit was amazing. People who knew him. People who didn’t.

It was great seeing all of these people coming out for party and to raise money to help a young family that suffered a horrible tragedy.

Sometimes people surprise you. For the better.

Honey, don’t be jelly of my treats from Bored Otter Farm. Get your own! They have honey, jellies, jams, soaps, and more.

I got honey for my tea (and when Lily gets a sore throat) and triple berry jelly for the kids.

Project 365: Day 285 – Still a Baby

image

Navy is becoming a big boy in so.many ways. He walks and talks. He picks up his toys. He writes or colors. He can do so many things for himself.

Yet, he shows me in sweet, little ways that he is still a baby.

He still sits in my lap to put his socks on. He tosses in his crib, that he hasn’t learned to climb out of (yet). He still wants held and cuddled when he doesn’t feel good.

It’s bittersweet. I love seeing him learn new things and be able to do more for himself. At the same time,  I hate it because my boy is growing up.

Why does it go so fast?!
