Project 365: Day 107 – Nintendo Time

Lily’s blue Nintendo DSi was stolen a couple of weeks ago. It’s been very hard for her to understand how someone could take something that didn’t belong to them.

Henry just happened to have a black Nintendo 3DS that he doesn’t play with anymore. He said that as long as she behaved, she could borrow it.

She spent a couple of hours on the sofa playing with the new Hello Kitty game she bought with her birthday gift card and taking pictures with the camera.

So grateful that she has a man like Henry in her life.

Project 365: Day 106 – Two Wheeled Adventures

Lily got a new bike for her birthday. Since then, she’s been asking (read, begging) to have her training wheels taken off. We haven’t yet, but Papa did with the bike he has at his house.

She so wants to ride without training wheels that she’s been trying to do it herself. She’s also pretty good, and can go 10-30 feet before she puts her feet down…

Or epically crashes…

Arts In a Name

I was reading Attack of the Twins: New Artwork that I’d discovered on Pinterest. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it, but we both have daughters named Lily, so it definitely caught my eye.

The mom got canvas, painters’ tape, and finger paints. She taped off each child’s name on the canvas. Then, she let them paint.

I modified the project a little bit with the age differences in my children. Lily had a bigger, more complex project. Navy’s was smaller and more simplistic.
