Michelle’s Visit: Day 2 – Happy St. Patrick’s Day

We didn’t do anything really special for St. Patrick’s Day this year. The kids wore their special St. Pat’s shirts (Navy’s was filthy before we left the house), Michelle and I wore green. We also had special hair bows that I made.

Navy was told to sit down after climbing on the chair. His little bottom got top close to the edge. So funny. Poor guy.

Michelle’s Visit: Day 1 – Welcome to Indiana

Michelle flew in from Texas today. I cannot believe that she’s finally here. The drive to and from the Indianapolis International Airport was not as bad as previous years. I think I’ve finally got the hang of it.

Since I didn’t have to work this morning, we got some extra play time in before we had to leave for the airport. My Dad was awesome and took Lily to school for me. Sad I had to miss her field trip to see Central Lutheran’s operetta.

Lily got her Bob Evans birthday coupon in the mail, and she wanted to use it.

St. Patrick’s Day at Preschool

Lily’s class celebrated St. Patrick’s Day today. She wore her special St. Patrick’s Day shirt, socks, and hair bow.

While they were out of the classroom, a mischievous leprachaun came into their room to hide his gold. In doing so, he made a big mess.

This is Lily’s special hair bow that I made for St. Patrick’s Day. She’s been asking to wear it, but we saved it until today. She’s requested to wear it again on Friday.

Still trying to figure out what we are going to do to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday…
